18th Street Plaza
The concept of the18th Street Plaza is to be the premier community gathering space designed to host community events in downtown Scottsbluff. The Plaza has been the location for the Scottsbluff Farmer's Market, Bands on Broadway Summer Concert Series, Best of the West Beer and Wine Fest, and the Cinco De Mayo Celebration.The new plaza design creates a more welcoming space for current and future events. A permanent stage has been built in the northeast corner near the great lawn.
There are built in picnic tables and shade trees located along the southeast corner of the plaza and the newly designed park benches placed in various locations within the plaza providing areas to relax. Both the Broadway and 1st Avenue entrances feature a curved brick archway helping to define the plaza entrance.
