Get A Library Card
You do not need to live within Scottsbluff city limits to get a library card. LSPL never charges a non-resident fee, no matter where you live.
To get a library card that allows full use of all the library's collections and services:
- Applicants must provide a photo ID and proof of their current residential address.
- Applicants may complete an application in person at the library; or online applications may be submitted below and the card picked up at the library.
- Children age 15 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to apply for, or pick up, their card. The parent or guardian must provide a photo ID and proof of their current residential address as well as sign as the responsible party for the child.
- Temporary cards are an option for any adult patron that does not have proof of a permanent address. A photo ID is still required.
- Applicants must complete an application and review the Temporary Card Policy.
- Applications for temporary cards must be submitted in person at the library.
